Chronic Distal Biceps Tendon Repair: Case Report
Main Article Content
Abstract
Chronic distal biceps tendon injuries are rare and surgical treatment is debated. We present a 59-year-old patient with a 6-year chronic injury and evident clinical deformity despite previous surgery. A repair was performed with a cadaveric Achilles tendon graft and a dual fixation system (button + anchors). The outcome was satisfactory with functional recovery. The case highlights the importance of individualized treatment and combined fixation systems to improve stability.
