Hernia de disco torácico

Abstract
The prevalence of herniated thoracic discs vary from 0.15% to 1.7% and the ones located above T3 level represent 4%. Of these, 0.5% to 0.8% are symptomatic cases. A research performed in PubMed revealed 29 documented cases of herniated thoracic discs at the level of T1-T2 from 1954 up until now. Patient of 65 years old, with a diagnosis of herniated thoracic disc at T1-T2 level, treated with oral prednisone in high doses, neuromodulators, NSAIDs, opioids and kinesiology, monitored up until the date of the abstract has been submitted.
