Técnica WALANT: Aplicación en cirugía de mano: reparación de lesiones tendinosas con movilidad activa transquirúrgica
Main Article Content
Abstract
The combination of a local anesthetic with epinephrine allows us to perform hand and finger surgeries without pain or bleeding, without the need for an ischemia cuff with a fully awake and collaborating patient. Three clinical cases are described using the WALANT technique (Wide Awake Local Anesthesia No Tourniquet) to surgically resolve tendon lesions obtaining satisfactory transoperative results.
