Main Article Content
Abstract
Unicompartmental osteoarthritis is a common pathology in middle age that mostly affects the medial compartment, producing a varus deformity, pain and functional limitation. Diagnosis is made with clinical history and radiological findings. It can be treated with an unicompartmental partial arthroplasty, providing a clinical improvement. Below, we present the following clinical cases of elderly patients with a diagnosis of arthrosic genu varus with compromise of the medial compartment of the right and left knee, non-reductible varus deformity classified according to Albach type III. A partial arthroplasty of the medial compartment of the knee was performed, obtaining good clinical and functional results.
