Abstract
Traumatic hip dislocation combined with femoral head fracture are events that usually occur as a consequence of high energy trauma in young people. The main objective of management from arrival in the emergency room and surgical planning is the achievement of anatomical reduction, the clinical case of a 21 year old male patient with traumatic dislocation of the right hip Thompson and Epstein V is presented. It is accompanied by a Pipkin I femoral head fracture, which was managed with reduced dislocation in a controlled manner and fixation of the fracture with cannulated screws, in the control at ten months post-surgery, there are no signs of osteonecrosis, for clinical evaluation The Harris Hip score was used.
