Plastia intraarticular con aumentación por rotura parcial proximal de ligamento cruzado anterior en pacientes adultos jóvenes
Main Article Content
Abstract
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear is a commonly sports-related injury. This condition
is typically managed by reconstruction using autograft or allograft. However, it has
been shown that patients with proximal ACL injuries or ruptures, who come for an
early assessment within 3 months, and whose tissue quality is very good, assessed
intraoperatively, can benefit from a plasty with augmentation. This technique seeks
to preserve proprioceptive properties, reduce donor site morbidity and allow faster
recovery. Two cases of young adult patients with an ACL injury who underwent primary
plasty with augmentation are presented.
