Abstract
Primary knee arthroplasty is the definitive treatment for severe joint damage. We can describe multiples affectations like defects in the joint surface and angular deformities. We describe the case of a 75 year old male with a moderate intensity pain for 7 years, which makes walking and daily activities difficult. Functional Preoperative Scale WOMAC was 87. The patient has a valgus deformity. A cemented knee prosthesis was used with lateral retinacular released, obtaining excellent results such as pain relief, recovery of joint mobility and mechanical axis alignment.
