Abstract

Lumbopelvic fracures are injuries that occur with low frequency and are especially associated of high-energy trauma, as is the case with car accidents and considerable precipitation. There are no studies with large cohorts, which makes it difficult to evaluate the outcomes of interest according to the type of treatment, which has been based on seeking stability at fracture sites, without long-term follow-ups. Likewise, it tends to neurological recovery and the decrease in the rate of associated complications.
We present a clinical case of a patient with a diagnosis of pelvis fracture associated with lumbosacral fracture, product of high energy trauma, its initial and definitive treatment with good results, helping early and reintegration in a short period of time into their
daily activities.
